About
This is a place dedicated to wonder. A place where people connect with that which makes them come alive. Where authenticity is the only prerequisite and a life of joy, curiosity, creativity, fulfillment, aspiration, contribution, and social transformation are the goals.
I want to create a life filled with wonder and I want to help others do the same.
The definition alone fills me with inspiration: “A feeling of surprise mingled with admiration, caused by something beautiful, unexpected, unfamiliar, or inexplicable (Noun). To think or speculate curiously (Verb).”
“We need a renaissance of wonder. We need to renew, in our hearts and in our souls, the deathless dream, the eternal poetry, the perennial sense that life is miracle and magic.” – E. Merrill Root
Cultivating more wonder in our lives will also create a greater capacity for empathy. When we are open to wonder, we will be less likely to judge or criticize others and be more capable of listening with understanding and appreciation.
I am committed to:
- living in harmony with people and nature
- following the voice of intuition
- pursuing the things that make me come alive
- contributing to others’ well being
- working towards social justice
- seeing and listening to others emphatically
- being fully present to the here and now
- working to create a sustainable society
- owning less
- being authentic
- cultivating gratitude

Hi Alissasart, thanks for your kind words. Great to have you hear!
I am very inspired by what you are committed to. I resonate with all of it. I am using this day, 11/11/11, to encourage myself to live my life this way even when I experience self doubt.
Hi Valerie, I am so glad to hear that you have found inspiration here. I would love to hear any feedback you have on this site and what things you want to see more of here. Best wishes staying encouraged and hopeful and I look forward to keeping the conversation going!
